CAFFÈ DEGLI SPECCHI
A historic café near the Palazzo Ducale, where you can enjoy a coffee at the counter while admiring the infinite reflections of the mirrors.
"A porcelain grotto" was how this charming café, opened in the early 20th century, inspired the poet Dino Campana, who was fascinated by the play of reflections in the mirrors covering the walls. The mirrors(specchi in Italian) were the inspiration for the establishment's name. Not far from the Palazzo Ducale, today it's a meeting point for Genoese for aperitivo, a light lunch or a pleasant breakfast of pandolce or cornetti. The atmosphere is conducive to refinement and the art of delicacy.
