Art museum illustrating the evolution of Ligurian artistic production in Genoa.

Housed in the former patrician villa Saluzzo Serra (16th-19th centuries), this important collection of paintings illustrates the evolution of Ligurian artistic production from the 19thto the 21stcentury . Romanticism, history and genre painting, Italian realism and impressionism, symbolism, futurism and other twentieth-century trends are presented here through works of the highest quality by Ligurian and Italian artists such as Fortunato Depero, Felice Casorati, Filippo De Pisis, Arturo Martini and Renato Guttuso.
