Superb monastic complex, today a place of visit and accommodation.
A panoramic path (Via Cervara) leads to the forecourt of the abbey. This superb monastic complex was founded in the 14thcentury by Benedictine monks. François I, a prisoner of the Spanish, stayed here for a time in 1525. Various religious orders followed before the site became private property in 1937. Today, it is a venue not only for private events, but also for first-class accommodation.
