Practical information : Going out Beirut
Timetable
Clubs and nightclubs are open from Thursday to Saturday, usually from 10pm until the early hours of the morning. That said, clubs only fill up when bars close, around 1 or even 2 am.
Budget & Tips
Clubbing is expensive in Beirut. Apart from the entrance fee (count at least $20), drinks are much more expensive than in the city's bars (minimum $10). If there are several of you, reserving a table can be more economical.
To be booked
No need to make a reservation to enjoy the clubs and nightclubs, unless you want a table to sit at: in this case, it is highly recommended to book several days in advance. For concert halls and theatres, it is best to book in advance on the internet.
Night transport
Beirut's few public transport services do not operate at night, but taxis and Ubers usually wait outside the clubs.
Age restrictions
You have to be 21 years old to join the city's clubs. Entry checks are systematic.
What's very local
In Beirut, going out in a nightclub is before a social activity, where one shows one's wealth. It is therefore unthinkable to enter a club in a marcel/short/tongue. A chic and elegant dresscode is mandatory.
Smokers
Every club and nightclub in town is smoking. Cigarettes can be bought there, but at high prices.
Tourist traps
As a result, there is no such thing as a fake ticket scam in Beirut. On the other hand, it is advisable to be careful when leaving nightclubs.
