GUERNON-RANVILLE CASTLE
This castle was the property of a minister in the 19th century and a resort for patrons in the early 20th century.
Like the Château du Mariquet, that of Château du Guernon-Ranville was used by the Allies during the 1944 landing, but as an infirmary. A little earlier, it was also owned by a minister in the 19th century, and a holiday resort for patrons in the early 20th century. Its date of construction is not known; however, it is believed to date back to the 18th century, due to its architectural style and particularly its façade. Today, three charming cottages have been built.
