If you are lucky enough to attend a performance at Teatro La Fenice, extend the pleasure by dining in one of Venice's historic restaurants, where both service and cuisine are beyond reproach. Here we enter one of the oldest addresses in Venice, the 18th century style room and the typical Venetian kitchen are a godsend to keep on dreaming. Legend has it that the ghost of the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio wanders between the tables. Perhaps he would like to try the Treviso radicchio risotto or tiramisù?

Every dish was delicious, so of course we had three (Escargot, Monkfish and Chocolate tart).
The ambience was so lovely and traditional Venetian that we stayed for cocktails which were equally brilliant. Service couldn’t have been better. Would definitely recommend for a fancy evening out!
