Its terrace on the Giudecca canal is sublime; in the plate, modern interpretation of the best local products.
A restaurant that is worth the detour, just for its dream location on the lagoon! Located on the south quay of Dorsoduro, at the back of the Salute church, a few steps from Punta della Dogana, Linea d'Ombra has installed its tables on a large wooden terrace floating on the water. Halfway between sky, sea and land, the cuisine is as light and unique as the setting. Among the specialties: delicately seasoned tuna tartar, sea bass in a crust, skate with black butter. Excellent wine list (over 600 labels). Young and efficient service.

You get to choose how they cook it (baked or salt crusted).
The fish was really juice, nice and tasty. But that was all there was on the plate except 4-5 very bland vegetable pieces. I would almost not call this a dish but rather just "fish on a plate"
Not making the most of this very well cooked fish is a shame and ended up making this a rather expensive disappointment.
Not recommended.
