Welcome to one of Venice's last authentic trattorie, a historic address popular with locals. With its wooden chairs and tables, and paintings hanging here and there, the place exudes the atmosphere of a 1950s tavern. Here, you can enjoy the famous polpette (meatballs) at the counter, accompanied by an ombra of house wine, red or white, or feast on Venetian specialties such as spaghetti al nero di seppia or sarde in saor. The atmosphere is friendly, the service fast (sometimes a little rushed), always warm.

Si l'accueil n'est pas toujours agréable, le lieu mérite d'être connu. Soit pour déguster au bar les meilleures polpette de Venise, accompagnées du vin du patron (le tout pour 2.5 €) soit pour dîner à un prix qui reste abordable (environ 25 €). Plats simples mais très gouteux. Bon vin en carafe. Mais il faut absolument réserver car souvent complet.
