HOTEL DANIELI
Palace of 200 rooms located in a gothic style palace where George Sand and Alfred de Musset stayed.
Located 100 meters from the Bridge of Sighs, this historic building is a combination of three palazzi where, among others, the Doge Dandolo lived in the 14th century. In 1822 the Danieli became a hotel, and soon afterwards one of the most famous palaces in Venice. It was the witness of the love affair of George Sand and Alfred de Musset, before seeing a host of other personalities pass through its majestic lobby. It has 200 rooms and suites with 5-star services. It also houses a panoramic restaurant with a dreamy view of the lagoon.
