Situated opposite the Lido S.M.E ferry landing stage, on the shores of the Venetian lagoon, Hotel Belvedere is a warm and simple establishment. It's a 9-minute walk from the Lido beach and 14 km from downtown Venice, home to the famous St. Mark's Square. The hotel's simple rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms offer a terrace and/or garden view, while superior category rooms offer a view of the lagoon. Room service is also available. Breakfast and parking are free, as are use of the beach huts (available in limited numbers) and loan bikes. The hotel has a bright, airy restaurant with a terrace along a pedestrian street, as well as a casual café/bar serving fish and seafood dishes, as well as pasta specialties. The Hotel Belvedere offers panoramic views of Venice, visible in the distance across the lagoon. It was built in 1857 and is still run by the same family.
