Active since the 17th century, Teatro Goldoni is one of Venice's oldest theaters. This "Italian-style" theater pays homage to the playwright Carlo Goldoni, who was its director from 1752 to 1761 and created such major works as La Trilogia della villeggiatura, Sior Todero brontolon and Le Baruffe chiozzotte.
