Water marathon that brings together hundreds of boats.
The thirty-two kilometers of this international rowing race will certainly not be part of your program of cultural visits, but if you are in Venice at the end of May or beginning of June (the Sunday following the Sensa), go and stand by the Grand Canal to encourage the courageous participants in their last hectometers. This nautical meeting dates back to 1975. It brings together some 1,800 boats (only boats without motor and without sail but with oars are invited) and 7,000 participants. Not to be missed!
