A beautiful church, one of the oldest religious buildings in Venice, with a beautiful clock façade.

This church, whose foundation stone was laid in 429, is one of the oldest religious buildings in Venice, although it was restored in the 17th century. Its magnificent clock, which has set the pace for merchant activity since 1410, has a 24-hour mechanism. On the campo, the famous statue of the Gobbo di Rialto (The Hunchback of Rialto), dated 1541, reminds us that it was here that the laws and news of the Venetian Republic were proclaimed to the general public
