MUSEO EBRAICO DI VENEZIA
Museum that traces the role of the Jewish community in the history of the Serenissima through objects of the Jewish tradition.
This is a visit that will allow you to better understand the very important role of the Jewish community in the history of the Serenissima. Precious objects of worship, fabrics, manuscripts of the Jewish tradition are exhibited there. Note especially the tasim (ornamental plates of the Torah scrolls), ataroth (silver crowns) and parakhoth (beautiful ancient veils). An interesting collection that completes the visit to three of the five synagogues (Scuola Grande Tedesca, Scuola Canton, Scuola Spagnola) that mark out this amazing district.
