Museum of sacred art exhibiting works by Tintoretto and Palma il Giovane from churches and convents closed by Napoleon.
In the former Benedictine convent of Sant'Apollonia, the unique Romanesque building in Venice, you will discover a magnificent Romanesque cloister, among the most beautiful of the city, and an interesting museum of sacred art. The latter houses works from Tintoretto and Palma il Giovane, from churches and convents closed by Napoleon, which have not yet joined the collections of the French national museums.
