Natural history museum in a beautiful setting in Venice.

It was in 1621 that this magnificent 13th-century building was handed over to Turkish merchants, becoming their headquarters for important trading activities. Refurbished in 1861, it now houses the Museum of Natural History. The museum presents its collections through a modern museography, offering an instructive experience. On the first floor, you'll discover the cetacean gallery and an aquarium. The second floor is dedicated to fossils and paleontology, while a final section explores the diversity and adaptability of living species.
