CHIESA DI SAN GIOVANNI BATTISTA
Romanesque church with a beautiful cloister and frescoes of the fourteenth century in Vittorio Veneto.
Built in the 12th century as an annex to the Carmelite convent, the Romanesque church has a beautiful frescoed cloister with a central well sculpted with bas-reliefs. The interior, divided into three naves, is enriched with interesting works of art. In particular, there are paintings by Jacopo da Valenza (an altarpiece from 1502), a precious organ painted by Frigimelica il Vecchio, the painting Il Battesimo di Cristo by Francesco da Milano, and paintings from the 14th century.
