It is located in the ancient municipal palace of Serravalle built in the 15th century, whose facade is decorated with beautiful frescoes. In the archaeological section there are paleo-Venetian and Roman artifacts, in the medieval section there are frescoes by Francesco da Milano, a remarkable bas-relief of the Virgin and Child by Sansovino and sculptures by Luigi Borro and Guido Giusti. An entire room contains paintings by local painters of the 19th century. The Sala del Maggior Consiglio is dominated by the fresco of the Lion of Saint Mark.
