CHIESA DI SAN PIETRO
Church with remarkable paintings, altarpieces and frescoes in Belluno.
Built by the Franciscans in 1326, the church was completely demolished and rebuilt in the first half of the 18th century. Inside you can see four large paintings by Schiavone that originally formed the leaves of the organ, as well as the works of Sebastiano Ricci, including the altarpiece of the high altar and the frescoes of the Fulcis chapel. Finally, admire the remarkable altarpieces with carved wooden angels, the work of Andrea Brustolon at the beginning of the 18th century; they come from the Jesuit church, an order that was banned in 1773.
