DUOMO DI SAN MARTINO
Cathedral with three modern bronze portals featuring an angel blowing a trumpet.
Built in the 16th century by Tullio Lombardo and rebuilt after the earthquakes of 1837 and 1936. Admire the façade with three modern bronze portals (1980s). Inside, there is a polychrome marble altar and works by Schiavone(San Bernardino da Siena), Jacopo da Bassano (The Martyrdom of St. Lawrence) and Palma the Younger(The Deposition from the Cross). Its baroque onion-shaped bell tower (1743) was made by Filippo Juvarra. An angel blowing a trumpet (18th century), by Brustolon, watches over Belluno from the bell tower.
