CAGLIERON CAVE
Caves that have been dug through the millennia by the flow of the torrent Cansiglio and by the hand of man.
The caves of Caglieron have been dug through the millennia, by the flow of the Cansiglio torrent and by the hand of man, as stone quarries since the 16th century. They can be visited by following a path and crossing high perched bridges that lead from one cave to the other to the bottom of the abyss. You will come across numerous waterfalls, peat bogs and water mirrors. An evocative landscape accompanied by the sound of the torrent that flows with ardour. The path goes down along the cavities to go up in broad daylight up to an old mill.
