Square with beautiful monuments of Gothic and Renaissance style, one of the most interesting places of Belluno.
The market square, also called Piazza delle Erbe, is one of the most interesting places in Belluno, with its beautiful Gothic and Renaissance monuments and arcades. In the center there is also a fountain dating back to 1409. The square is located on the site of the ancient Roman forum of ancient Belluno. Among the palazzi, you will notice the Monte di Pietà (1531) with its original portal reinforced with iron bars, as well as some remains of the frescoes that once covered it entirely.
