Hotel offering rooms in a unique mountain style, both refined and characteristic

The history of the Hotel de la Poste began in 1804, when it was primarily a place for socialites. Since then, the establishment has never ceased its activity. Until 1921, the adjoining post office used to cancel the letters of the Austro-Hungarian high society and the hotel was then used as a post house... hence its name since then. Nowadays, the telegraph's place is occupied by the restaurant's tables. As for the rooms, they are bright and spacious, doubling their warm character with a demanding comfort.

Vergognoso il direttore della struttura “HOTEL DE LA POSTE” racconta ai microfoni di Carta Bianca, un episodio dove un imprenditore (PER CAPRICCIO)avrebbe preteso di fare gareggiare due aragoste lungo i corridoi dell’albergo per poi bollirle vive. Il direttore si vanta sorridendo mentre racconta questo suo aneddoto che dovrebbe far sorridere! Purtroppo questa storia non fa ridere!

Abbiamo pranzato all’aperto sulla terrazza resa celebre - tra l’altro - dal film Vacanze di Natale. Senza prenotazione, ci è stato ricavato un tavolo per due al sole… il personale è gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile. Carne salads e gnocchi di zucca strepitosi. Il conto…? Non conta! Siamo a Cortina!
