Opened in 1974 thanks to a donation from Rosa Braun, widow of collector Mario Rimoldi, the museum houses a valuable collection of modern art. On display are masterpieces by de Pisis, de Chirico, Sironi, Campigli, Morandi, Guttuso and international artists such as Kokoschka and Léger. The collection, spanning more than 50 years, reflects the major currents of the 20th century, from figuration to the abstract avant-gardes. Signature works include Guttuso's La Zolfara and Garbari's San Sebastiano. A must-see for modern art lovers.
