ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Museum preserving the archaeological remains and a set of building materials of the third century.
The museum preserves the archaeological remains found in the Cadore region from the 1950s onwards. Of note are the ex-votos in the Venetian language, testifying to the existence of forms of worship during the Roman and pre-Roman period (from the 6th century BC to the 4th century AD), as well as a whole set of building materials (nails, hammers...) found in the remains of a 3rd-century Roman villa. Iron and bronze brooches and ladles bear witness to the practice of banquets and libations.
