ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Museum preserving the archaeological remains and a set of building materials of the third century.
The museum preserves the archaeological remains found in the Cadore region since the 1950s. Particularly noteworthy are ex-votos in the Venetian language, testifying to the existence of forms of worship in Roman and pre-Roman times (from the 6th century BC to the 4th century AD), as well as a whole range of construction materials (nails, hammers, etc.) found in the remains of a 3rd-century Roman villa. Iron and bronze spits and ladles testify to the practice of banquets and libations.
