Hostel located between Clapham and Brixton area with dormitories for girls only.

Above the typically English bar, a mecca for London's live music scene, is the Hootananny backpackers, one of the few in the area. Situated between Clapham and Brixton, two pleasant neighborhoods that have become terribly fashionable, this lively hostel offers a dozen spacious dormitory rooms. Communal lounge, kitchen and bathrooms. A great address in a very fashionable area! We love Brixton for its street markets and concert halls.

Great venue, and great music. The three performers on Saturday for Dynamite Disco were the best act I’ve seen this year. Dancing from start to finish - couldn’t recommend as a spot anymore. They have a great programme coming up also, so should be attending more!

Absolutely love this place. One of my favourite nights out in London by far. Live music is always great and such a rarity these days! Would really recommend for either a night out or a more chilled day at the pub.

The disco was pretty good at 27/01/24 (Ratpack party) but I miss some apache, funky drummer and Think (Lyn Collins tune) rhythm.

Nevertheless the party hard!!

Will come back

Good music venue, lovely high stage. However, another venue that considers it's a good idea to shine spotlights into the crowd. One of us is epileptic so we have to hide round a corner. It's as if health and safety is not considered for anyone with epilepsy or suffers from migraines. No visible warning at the venue, on the website or when buying tickets.
