In the West End, where many theaters are located, the Haymarket Hotel has found its place along Suffolk Place. Despite its proximity to many of the capital's points of interest, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. The rooms, which are very spacious and decorated in a contemporary, British style, are the other strong point of the Haymarket. As for the Afternoon Tea, served at the Brumus Bar & Restaurant, it is excellent.

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay and the staff here. After ditching our AirBnb due to the smell, we booked a room at The Hay Market Hotel and it truly made our London trip magical. My husband and I traveled with our 7 month old baby, and the team at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. By the time we left, it felt like we were saying goodbye to longtime friends. The location is also incredible - walking distance to most everything in central London but on a quiet and uncrowded street. I would stay here over and over again, and am so very grateful for the team that made our stay so special.

Stunning venue, good party, brilliant staff. Can not comment on the rooms as didn’t stay but overall a superb venue to host an event.

We stayed here over New Year’s Eve with our two young children and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had! They were so unbelievably nice, accommodating and helpful in every regard. From the child friendly amenities (kid sized bathrobes and slippers, organic sensitive skin toiletries in cute bunny bags, milk and cookies with their names at turn down and welcome hot cocoa), to the fantastic recs for food and activities, indoor pool WITH floating toys AND full service for the adults, honesty bar with board games to wind down. And most unexpected perk was being able to see the passing new years parade from our window. Just loved everything and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Kids didn’t want to leave the hotel on our last full day- spent it at the pool, bath with a tv allowed for a lazy perfect day. I couldn’t ask for more.

Oh how darling! The suites are stunning. I was enchanted by the experience. Simply exquisite. Thank you for our bell boy/room server yesterday evening for a productive display and oh, so accommodating. Excellent!

The room was like the set of “Being John Malkovich”! It was mid floor, so windows were at floor level! The bathroom was bizarrely warm and the shower (but not the sinks) had wildly fluctuating hot/cold water and very hard water (hard to wash off the soap!). When I explained this at checkout (noting it was a minor issue), the staff person (middle aged disabled lady) got defensive and passive aggressive (“we’ve never heard of this before!”). Really?!? Come on!
Major shoutout to the doormen, Philip and Ben! VERY helpful, friendly and thoughtful! Made our stay, and the minor issues we encountered, less bothersome.
