Really beautiful and quiet spot in the centre of bustling London.

We had afternoon tea here during the week; luckily we were able to squeeze in a reservation the day before! You have to email for a table. The experience was delightful and quite a deal— great tea and soft scones, a peaceful atmosphere in the garden, and attentive but not intrusive service. We will be back next year!

They refused to give us room service, telling if we wanted anything we have to go ourselves to the bar downstairs, then also said they had forbidden to bring alcohol to the room and they say they were very busy when it was empty, so if you go to this hotel for a romantic night with your husband, forget about it… we had to leave… The staff didn’t care at all, they were absolutely the worst, and definitely they didn’t even wanted to give us the invoice when we left… 2h later, they said: we have your details and didn’t even bother to do the check out; This hotel definitely is not a 5 stars, they show 0 empathy, and laziness was the description of the people working in reception, that by the way was dirty, untidy and full of digestive biscuits under the counter and they were eating while doing nothing; Also they refused to pass us with the manager to complain about their refusal of bringing dinner and drinks to the room, we chose this hotel because we had a great experience in the haymarket, but nothing similar or even close of you compare… the ruined our night

Gorgeous spot in the cool of the garden for cocktails and light bites after a day at the V&A.

We popped to the Orangery for dinner this week. It’s a lovely place to go for a drink or maybe the afternoon tea. But definitely not for dinner. The menu choice is very restrict, and wine list the same. We have the first booking of the evening at 7pm, and only with one table more, service was super slow, the drinks took ages to arrive, wine was served warm- horrible! The lady was lovely, but unfortunately service was below expectations.
I had the orecchiette, it was terrible! Any Italian citizen would have returned the dish.
Certainly the bill was way over what we expected to pay for that quality of food and service and we were still charged a wrong price for a bottle of wine. The space is beautiful indeed and super special, but as a restaurant it was disappointed.
Overpriced! Overrated! Avoid!
