The room on the roof terrace is ideal in summer, boasting a private terrace and a breathtaking view over Kensington! A chic address in the heart of Chelsea. South Kensington subway station is a 3-minute walk away. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. A very nice address!

Our fave in London. Great value for money (cheap for this area) and extremely warm and friendly. Good toiletries, even provides tea and good coffee, plus bedroom slippers. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel. My fave pub (PJs) is only next door and a very good high-end Malaysian restaurant is across the road.

Used Sydney House for a base to visit the Chelsea flower show as it's in a good location both for the show and transport links.

The staff were welcoming and the service was excellent.

A well positioned hotel in pleasant surroundings
It is a masterpiece of space utilisation so everything is compact, to say the least! But it is quite stylish.
Close to Royal Brompton hospital and South Kensington underground is convenient.
