Magnificent ensemble founded in 1058 by the abbey of Fine, the priory is remarkable by the richness of its decoration and its harmonious proportions. It includes a chapel in the vault adorned with a th-century fresco, a vaulted hall called «the monks'dining hall» and a «tower of justice» (th century) serving both a watch and a prison. The place is beautiful. However we were very rudely reprimanded by a older female tour guide who barred us entry to a public church because she was conducting a « private tour ». Go for the beauty, but don’t expect politeness.
