The Institute is a free exhibition space dedicated to preserving and promoting the collection of archival fonds.

Established in 2004 in Ardenne Abbey, the Institut Mémoires de l'Édition Contemporaine's mission is to preserve and promote an incredible collection of archives entrusted to its care. To this end, a majestic library in the abbey church and a research residence are open to anyone wishing to study. It's also a free exhibition space open to all. And even just for a stroll, the site's beauty and calm make it well worth a visit. There's even a small café waiting for you!

Opening time and information on IMEC

Open Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm; Friday from 9:30 am to 5 pm. The site and the gardens are accessible from Tuesday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. And for the exhibitions, from Wednesday to Sunday, from 2 to 6 pm.

Visite libre toute l'année des extérieurs de l'abbaye d''Ardenne qui abrite depuis 1996 l'Institut mémoires de l'édition contemporaine (IMEC). Visites guidées en été. Divers événements sont organisés ici : expositions, conférences, ateliers, débats ...(se renseigner sur leur site internet). La bibliothèque située dans l'ancienne abbatiale est accessible gratuitement sur réservation. Parking gratuit.
