TREASURER'S HOUSE
A stone's throw from the cathedral, Treasurer's house and garden is home to one of the city's best tea rooms. Some go even so far as to say that it would be almost better than the Bettys, the city's reference to afternoon tea! The entrance is free, regardless of the museum. The frame is pleasant, between old stone and traditional service. A good selection of typical regional cakes, including a dry fruit biscuit with cheese from Yorskhire. Little known to tourists, unlike the Bettys, then take advantage of it!
