This museum, the largest of its kind in the country, traces the industrial history of the city. It is housed in beautifully renovated former mining buildings and bears witness to the city's mining past. Příbram developed around this activity as early as the 10th century. It experienced its golden age with the technical boom in the 19th century. The iron mines closed in the 19th century, while the activity related to silver only ceased in 1978. The mine closed permanently in 1991.
