In 1905, while searching for drinking water, a powerful source of healing mineral water was discovered in the inner courtyard of the castle. A real boon for the city! As soon as it was found, it was exploited and a spa center was created. It opened its doors in 1908 and became one of the most popular in the region. Its water is said to be recommended for heart patients thanks to its high content of carbonic acid, calcium and magnesium. The thermal season begins in May.
