It is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the country. The oldest tomb dates from 1604. It was built on the heights at the exit of the city, facing the castle. It is interesting to walk through the alleys of the cemetery because it has preserved many beautifully carved steles in Renaissance or Baroque style, and others, much more sober, discreet tombstones emerging from the tall grass. The cemetery has a total of over 2,000 graves. The buildings house a small exhibition on the city's Jewish community.
