Another hotel with a view! Also on the Sorrento cliffs, the panorama on the Gulf and Marina Grande Harbour is impressive. Most of the rooms overlook the sea. Beautiful swimming pool on the terrace and pergolas.

I stayed at hotel Britannia twice with my friend and we had the best stay ever. We loved our first stay and we came back again years later.
Stefano, the owner, and his staff are very warm, helpful, professional and ensure to have the most comfortable stay. The hotel and rooms are always clean. The rooms are spacious. The view from the room and the rooftop are breathtaking. The hotel has a nice terrasse overlooking the street and the sea. The rooftop has sunbeds, chairs, a jacuzzi and a mesmerizing view over the sea.
Always a pleasure to enjoy the Amalfi coast from Hotel Britannia.
Special thanks to Stefano and the amazing staff.

Great place! Staff is lovely and the guy at the front desk helped us figure out our transportation and everything. It’s no frills but everything is very clean and neat. I advise using the bus or a taxi to get there with all your luggage because we dumbly hiked up the hill but the views are beautiful and it’s a 15 or so minute walk to town. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Britannia as our first stop on our honeymoon. To start the trip, our late flight ended up being delayed but Stefano (who is awesome) helped ensure our private transfer would wait for us. That transfer ended up being 200 euro (more than we were originally told, but we were just happy to get there).
The room: We checked into our room which was decent size with a small balcony looking out to what seemed to be a lemon tree farm. There wasn't much bedding and only two pillows, although we found more blankets in the closet days into our stay, they were a bit dusty. Every time we would shower, the water smelled largely of cigarette smoke.
The location: it is quite the 15 minute walk to the center of Sorrento, as it is on a hill with only about half the walk having sidewalk. We got used to it, but I wouldn't say it's for those who have trouble walking! There was a nearby beach club that I utilized that was more private, but quite expensive.
The service/amenities: Our room would get cleaned, but the bedding wouldn't be changed so I'm not sure about that but Stefano was an incredible host and so nice and knowledgable. They also play great music on the terrace, which is cute spot to watch the sunset. The roof terrace closed early so we couldn't watch sunset there, but the jucuzzi was a nice touch just small.
The food: There is no restaurant, but they do offer a small breakfast. It wasn't anything too crazy but the minimum. We wished they had more food options nearby or a restaurant just because the walk for food or even snacks can get tiring.
Sorrento in general, you probably don't need more than a couple days in. It's small and cute and fun to explore, but you can do it all pretty quickly. We actually ended up leaving a day early to go to Naples to be closer to our flight, but also for a change of scenery.
Overall, nice experience but we probably will explore other areas next adventure!

The rooms are clean and spacious, the view is breathtaking especially from the rooftop, the location is perfect as it's only 10 minutes walk from the city center, and most importantly Stefano and the whole staff is super friendly and very helpful !
I highly recommend to stay at hotel Britannia if you want to experience the best customer service !
