Castle near the city of Bayeux with luxurious rooms, a relaxation area, and a covered and heated swimming pool.

This aristocratic 18th-century mansion has a well-turned architecture, embellished by a park with 60-year-old trees. The luxurious rooms are next to the relaxation area with its indoor heated pool, fitness room, and tennis court. In the kitchen, Nicolas Fages only works with fresh produce, making it a point of honour to offer local products: Bayeux for meat and vegetables or Port-en-Bessin for seafood. The wine list, with more than 300 references, is as good as the place.

Nuit en amoureux. Romantique. Cadre idyllique. Personnel hyper agréable aux petits soins et souriant. Restaurant délicieux. Chambre calme bien équipée.

Nous venons de passer une nuit dans cet établissement, et notre expérience a été très mauvaise. Dans le spa, un des 2 jacuzzis ne fonctionnait pas (problème de filtre, soit disant causé par la tempête) ; nous avons passé 1 bonne minute à essayer de faire fonctionner la douche, sans succès (la réponse de la réception : elle fonctionne mais elle est "capricieuse") ; impossible de fermer la porte du sauna de l'intérieur, la corde servant de poignée de fortune n'aidant pas ; enfin la chambre dans le manoir était frigorifique (problème de chaudière visiblement), on nous a tout de même envoyé un petit radiateur d'appoint. Nous avons fait part de ces désagréments lors du check-out, une totale indifférence, pas un mot d'excuse... Impossible donc de recommander cet établissement.

Château situé dans un beau parc, à proximité des plages du débarquement (Omaha Beach).
Belle piscine couverte, beau restaurant. Environnement inspirant.
