The 60-metre high chimney of this museum dedicated to the work of cleaning up the Po delta beckons you in the middle of the countryside. A fine example of industrial archaeology, it houses an imposing drainage pump dating from the early 20th century, as well as the various machines that were used for the immense task of draining the Delta (the bonifica), an environmentally friendly undertaking that was essential for the economic development of the local population.
