CATTEDRAL
Cathedral exhibiting some interesting paintings by Venetian painters and a Byzantine relief of the 4th century.
Dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, the building was erected in the 19th century, next to an isolated 17th century bell tower. Inside there are some interesting paintings by Venetian painters and a Byzantine bas-relief from the 4th century. The left nave leads to the ancient cathedral which preserves an octagonal baptistery and the remains of the 8th century crypt, decorated with six medallions representing the apostles. A small museum tells the story of the building: documents, archives and liturgical objects are displayed in a modern and stimulating way.
