Romanesque baptistery, decorated with Roman Byzantine frescoes, in Treviso.
The baptistery of the Duomo was built in Romanesque style from the 12th century. The friezes and reliefs on the façade are still visible. Of particular interest is the 14th century portal and, on the right, a small niche decorated with a fresco from 1450 attributed to Gentile da Fabriano. The interior is decorated with paintings from the Roman-Byzantine period (13th century). Behind the baptistery is the unfinished bell tower of the cathedral (13th century).
