Beautiful church dedicated to popular devotion with many healings.
This beautiful church, also called Madonna Granda, is famous since the 8th century for an effigy of the Virgin and Child to which popular devotion attributed many miraculous cures. It was built in the second half of the 15th century in a late Gothic style, but was remodeled around 1522. Its red brick façade is very original, with a curved profile and two elongated stained glass windows with three rosettes.
