PALAZZO DEI TRECENTO
Medieval palace dating from the thirteenth century where the municipal magistracy sits, also known as the Palace of Reason.
The seat of the municipal magistracy, this beautiful medieval building dates from the beginning of the 13th century. Originally, it was the seat of the town's major council, composed of 300 members representing the most influential families of the town and the province. But over time, its vocation changed. It was transformed in turn into an arsenal, an Austrian court and then the seat of the archives. After being destroyed by a bomb in 1944, and rebuilt almost identically, it now once again hosts the plenary sessions of the Treviso municipality.
