LOGGIA DEI CAVALIERI
One of the most characteristic monuments of the city of Treviso.
This 13th-century rectangular edifice was built as a gathering and entertainment space for the patricians of Treviso, where they played chess and other games. Its architecture blends the Romanesque style of Treviso with Byzantine influences from Venice, giving the loggia a unique airy elegance. Partially destroyed in the bombardment of April 7, 1944, it has been restored to its original charm. Its walls, once adorned with frescoes, have been decorated with floral motifs, reinforcing its emblematic character.
