PESCHERIA
Pedestrian area, with a remarkable fish market and medieval buildings, one of the most lively in Treviso.
The Pescheria district, crossed by the Cagnan Grande, owes its name to the fish market held on the islet of Botteniga. The location of this open-air market makes it a picturesque and popular attraction. The surrounding area has some remarkable buildings, including a wooden mill and medieval facades decorated with frescoes. This part of Treviso is also dotted with bars and restaurants and is a must see. In summer, after the market, the banks are covered with small tables where you can have a snack.
