This trattoria, combining authenticity and tradition, is located just a few steps from Porta Castello. The rustic décor, with chequered tablecloths and a lampshade with embroidered doilies, immediately heralds a frank and assertive local cuisine, which draws its inspiration from the gastronomic specialities of the Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige (border region with Austria). There is a choice of two tasting menus, one Tyrolean, the other Vicentinian. On Saturday evenings, however, remember to book in advance. Delicious homemade desserts, including the unmissable apple strudel.
