Semplicemente sublime!
Non trovo che note positive da decantare per questo ristorante di alto livello, dalla cucina al servizio al calore umano che si respira e si vive da quando si suona il campanello e ad accoglierti ci sono occhi brillanti e caldi sorrisi a quando si esce, col sorriso, questa volta il tuo, soddisfatto disegnato sul proprio viso.
La magia di Matteo e i suoi ragazzi è anche questa: saperti mettere a tuo agio, farti respirare la tradizione e nel contempo calarti nel presente, qui e ora, che ogni portata, compreso il vino abbinato, riescono a fare. Degustazione d'arte! Sì, perché non posso che definire tale la cucina de Il Desco: arte letteralmente assaporata e consumata, capace di donare sensazioni fiabesche a tratti, estremamente reali in altri. Un'esperienza che consiglierei davvero a TUTTI, tenendo presente che dietro ad ogni piatto (oserei dire, ad ogni movimento), si cela un senso.... Fisico e metafisico... Lasciatevi stupire, lasciatevi coccolare, siate liberi di osare!
Grazie ancora a tutto lo staff per la serata magnifica che ci avete regalato!
PS: non ho scattato alcuna foto perché il cellulare l'ho dimenticato in borsa e non l'ho mai tirato fuori!!! Non vi serve!

Beim Betreten des Restaurants waren wir überrascht wie dunkel es war. Es gab nur wenige Menüvorschläge, und uns wurde gesagt, dass alle Personen am selben Tisch das gleiche Essen bestellen müssten, was uns sehr überraschte. Der Prosecco schlug mit stolzen 25 Euro zu Buche, während ein einfaches Glas Wein sogar 30 Euro kostete, ohne dass es sich um einen Spitzenwein handelte. Das Amuse-Bouche, das uns serviert wurde, war leider nicht besonders gut. Dann kam eine grosse Menge an Brot, das jedoch köstlich und warm war, und auch der Aufstrich schmeckte gut.
Beim Vorspeise-Lachs konnten wir keinen Grund zur Beanstandung finden, er war wirklich gut. Allerdings hatten wir erwähnt, dass wir gerne heisses Essen mögen, aber das Filet, das wir bestellten, war fast roh und nicht heiss. Als wir den Kellner darauf hinwiesen, versicherte er uns, dass es heiss sei, da der Teller heiss sei – ein eher merkwürdiger Kommentar. Der Geschmack des Gerichts war enttäuschend und nicht ansprechend. Auch das Dessert war kaum geniessbar
Ich würde dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen, wenn man bereit ist, viel Geld auszugeben und unzufrieden herauszugehen. Ich werde definitiv nie wieder dort hingehen!

It’s in the center of Verona with restricted traffic, I use to park in the parking house in piazza isolo and walk over the bridge in case I don’t find any free parking.
Food is really excellent, we had a 7+course menu and every dish was a real treat in appearance, fragrance, textures and flavors, just Wonderful! Service is good, very professional in a comfortable and not to stiff way. They are very interactive if required and t’s a pleasure to listen and ask about the food and wine served and they’ll take their time to explain it to you.
The ambient is also very nice, warm and cozy and 5 hours just slipped away like nothing.
Sincerely I could recommend every single dish I had, Al excellent but if I had to choose 2 I would warmly recommend the foie gras Bon Bon that just melts in your mouth revealing an explosion of delicate flavors, such a firework of taste, I never have enough of them!
And the sour prune sorbet with shiso and coconut foam/Cream that so much reminded me of the traditional Japanese sour prune bon bons, in a reviewed, enriched and brought to art, way.
A dinner at desco is absolutely an experience to repeat once in a while ????????

Locale stupendamente arredato , atmosfera intima ,ottima la soluzione del tavolo quadrato dove in 8 si puo' conversare .Molto apprezzata la presentazione del menu' scelto per noi da parte dello chef ...ingredienti di ottima qualità, preparazioni molto interessanti ,ci siamo sentiti " coccolati"
Consiglio vivamente .Spero di tornarci presto .
