Nestled in a quiet street 500 meters from Piazza Arena, this traditional bistro has long been a favorite among regulars who appreciate both the food and the setting. The walls are decorated with old paintings and photos of Verona's former soccer and rugby teams; the menu includes fresh local products: bigoli with duck sauce, trout tartar with grilled vegetables, beef fillet with gorgonzola or Amarone liqueur, and grilled perch fillet with Soave wine. The wine list honors the wines of Valpolicella.

Excellent rapport qualité prix mais pas seulement. Cuisine fine, bons produits, service sympathique.

Consigliatissimo

Food was okay, beer was kinda warm and the waiter wasn’t very nice. Definitely some better places if you go beyond the peninsula.

We had a wonderful meal at Trattoria Al Bersagliere. The food was all outstanding. The service was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful. The ingredients were all fresh and perfectly prepared. Highlights were the sardines, char, and Iberico pork.
