A retired firefighter in the 1950's opened this sought-after trattoria with a warm and relaxed atmosphere that will whet your appetite right away. Your mouth is watering when you look at the counter filled with deli meats and cheeses from all over Italy (there are even hams hanging from the ceiling!). Dishes of regional tradition are cooked in a wise way, always with that little touch that enhances the flavours. Pigeon risotto and Venetian-style veal liver with polenta are real culinary feats.

Visitato un sabato a pranzo. Nonostante sia un ristorante nel pieno centro storico di Verona, non ha nulla di turistico. L' atmosfera è bella, calda, il personale accogliente, simpatico che sa metterti a proprio agio e ti fa sentire coccolato. Sommelier molto capace , ci ha consigliato al top. In piatti sono gustosi ed equilibrati, le porzioni giuste. Un plauso al fegato veneziana: strepitoso !!!!!! Il prezzo più che onesto. PS: non potete non assaggiare il famoso tiramisu', vincitore di importanti premi!!! Super Consigliato!

Una tipica trattoria dove insieme a tanta cordialità e disponibilità si può tastare la bontà dei piatti della tradizione come la "pasta e fagioli", gnocchi di patate, ma anche una ricca selezione di Salumi. Un piacevole pranzo condito da una grande gentilezza e disponibilità. Grazie

The food is very good, however the staff isn’t very friendly. The service could be better so that the customers feel welcome and take their time to finish eating before making them leave.
