Works of great value in a Renaissance style church on the left bank of the Adige.
This church on the left bank of the Adige was built in 1477 in the Renaissance style. It is characterized by a dome attributed to Michele Sanmicheli, who is also said to be the author of the white stone facade - which others attribute to Antonio Rizzo. The interior is home to valuable works of art: above the entrance is the Baptism of Jesus, painted in 1576 by Tintoretto, while the high altar is adorned with the Martyrdom of St. George, signed Veronese.

Bien plus austère que ses voisines, cette église vaut tout de même le détour, ne fut-ce que pour le paysage qu'elle offre.
