CHIESA DI SAN GIOVANNI IN FONTE
A church with remains of frescoes from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries and various works of art in Verona.
The origins of this small church, formerly the cathedral's baptistery, date back to the 8th or 9th century. However, it was in the 12th century that it took on its present three-nave form. Inside, you can admire the remains of 13th-, 14th- and 15th-century frescoes, canvases by 16th-century Veronese painters, a work by Paolo Farinati and, in the center, a beautiful 13th-century octagonal font, richly carved with stories of Jesus' childhood.
